Nollywood actor, Saidi Balogun, has broken the silence on the demise of his daughter, Zeenat.
Naija News reported that Zeenat’s death sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry, prompting an outpouring of condolences and tributes from fans and colleagues alike.
In a statement via his Instagram page, Saidi described his late daughter as a warrior who gave her life all, stressing she was the embodiment of joy, acceptance, and resilience.
The filmmaker also said the deceased was a die-hard believer in the phrase never give up, and her character reflected her name.
Said Balogun thanked friends, colleagues, and well-wishers for being their beacon of light in their darkest hour.
He captioned the statement, “We extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who reached out to my family during this difficult time. We have been deeply moved by the overwhelming care, the heartfelt messages, and the many condolence visits. Your presence, prayers, and acts of kindness have truly touched our hearts. The love and support from friends, neighbours, and even those we have not seen in years have been a constant source of strength.
